I went to SF MOMA today.

I went to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art today.  It was pretty fun, looking at all the pictures!

I can feed myself while Mommy shops;)

So this year we still managed to shop at the day after Christmas sales.   Which were in a nutshell disappointing.  I wasn't able to find the really great deals and finds that I scored with last year.   All of her winter gear that she is wearing this year I scored last year at really amazing prices!   But this year at every store I went to the sales peeps said the same thing...the vendors scaled back due to the economy.  I am attributing this to the lack in designs for baby clothing also.  Her super cute beanies were missing this year along with super cute coats and sweaters.   Sad...sad...sad.

While we were at Sephora doing an exchange.  George called me over to see Elleia and to my surprise she was feeding herself!!!!  She has been "holding" her bottle from time  to time for a few weeks.   But today she actually aimed and held the bottle in the right spot!   I was AMAZED!!!!   

Thank you baby girl for holding your bottle so that Mommy can shop with two hands now :)

I have a runny nose again.... yuck!!!

I have a runny nose and can't breath for the past few days!!! yuck!   you know how hard it is to suck your thumb and breath through your mouth at the same time??? sigh!

My god-sisters came to visit.

I finally got to see my god sisters, Tori and Sierra..... They came to visit me for the weekend.  wait, which one is who now???  -baby e

My big cousin Justin is going back to Hawaii in a couple of days after studying for a semester at Chico State.  I am gonna miss him... I had good fun with him every time I saw him.   psssss why does he wear shorts all the time???

I got to see my papa John!

Saw papa John today.  I had so much fun playing with him!  I think I might have smack him in the face... lol!

I can hold my own bottle one handed!

I have been holding my own bottle once in a while for a minute or two.  Daddy finally took a picture of me holding the bottle one handed... what took him so long???

I got a little sick today.

I got a little sick.... runny nose and a little cough.  So I stayed home and didn't go to daycare.  Yeah, I had to hang out with Daddy alone all day long again.  Sigh...

Went to cut down my first Christmas Tree

Mommy and Daddy brought me to this place in Castro Valley to cut down a live Christmas tree.  It was kinda fun, since I have never seen a Christmas tree before.   It smelled kinda funny.  Well, at least I got to enjoy a nice nap on the way there and back.  :)

I saw Santa again today.

I saw that Santa guy again today at the Genentech Holiday Ho-Ho.  What's the big deal about him?  I liked his red outfit though!

I am 6 months old today.

My first day at day care.

Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at day care for the first time today.   I liked it, hanging out with other kids and all the nice teachers.  Plus mommy came to visit me at lunch time.  I don't know why mommy and daddy both looked sad when they left.  I had a blast!

Mommy went back to work today. Spent the whole day with Daddy help me!!!

Mommy went back to work today, after spending 6 months at home with me....  I spent the day alone with Daddy at home!  This is what he did to me!  Help!!!

Cousin Wesley stopped by to play.

Grandma brought cousin Wesley over for a visit this morning.  He was running around like a chicken without a head!  I had to tell him to slow down... I don't think he was listening.

My second visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium

I visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the second time.  Lots of fishes, mommy was so happy they have a sun fish in the outer bay tank again!

Elleia's first thanksgiving

Elleia had her first ever thanksgiving today.  She played with everybody, just as usual.

Baby girl learned something new

Really talkative all week

Hello I was really into talking this week.  I don’t think anyone really understood me.  But I was tryin’ to be heard.  I also decided it was time to kick the swaddle.  I am totally rockin the sleep bag.  It’s totally my new thing :)
Wasn’t really into my Gymboree class this week.  Who wants a stinkin’ bolster!

Beanie’s first airplane ride

Elleia flew for the first time today.  And she did great. She nursed well on the way up but was not quite into eating on the way down.   Not enough time in between to times to make her hungry.  She made friends with some people across the way, slept and played with Dad.

Daddy almost went crazy with the luggage, well the amount of luggage.  But we all survived and had over packed by only alittle.  :)

So George has this idea for a costume for Beanie.  And of course I think it is hilarious.  Now to make it.   Today we decide which way to go with the design.   Can’t wait to see the final product.   IT’s surprises all around!!! :)

I went to the park and a birthday party

I went to Melanie’s 6th birthday party today and to the park.   Both were first’s for me.  I had a great time.  Although mommy was alittle worried when the wind picked up.  So we left early.  But I enjoyed myself for the most part.  I also got to visit with Cali.  I missed her :)

I sleep Nine hours at night

I started a new thing this week.
Well for the pass two nights.   I am sleeping nine hours.
yeah.  And I like it.
I also started putting myself to sleep.  Yeah, I just kinda stare off into space and drift off into sleep.  I know.  Mommy can hardly believe it.   But I like it.   I am in control and it feels right. :)
It helps that Daddy started reading to me before I drift off to sleep also.   Thank you Auntie Allison for the book.   Or should I thank Hannah.  I hear it’s one of her faves also.
