Costume designing

So George has this idea for a costume for Beanie.  And of course I think it is hilarious.  Now to make it.   Today we decide which way to go with the design.   Can’t wait to see the final product.   IT’s surprises all around!!! :)

I went to the park and a birthday party

I went to Melanie’s 6th birthday party today and to the park.   Both were first’s for me.  I had a great time.  Although mommy was alittle worried when the wind picked up.  So we left early.  But I enjoyed myself for the most part.  I also got to visit with Cali.  I missed her :)

I sleep Nine hours at night

I started a new thing this week.
Well for the pass two nights.   I am sleeping nine hours.
yeah.  And I like it.
I also started putting myself to sleep.  Yeah, I just kinda stare off into space and drift off into sleep.  I know.  Mommy can hardly believe it.   But I like it.   I am in control and it feels right. :)
It helps that Daddy started reading to me before I drift off to sleep also.   Thank you Auntie Allison for the book.   Or should I thank Hannah.  I hear it’s one of her faves also.

Baby girl is wearing size 2 diapers

I can’t believe it but Elleia is wearing size 2 diapers.   We can barely close the size 1’s.   I swear she grew out of a whole size in diapers in one month.   Unbelievable!!!!

I was Baptized today:)

Elleia was baptized today.
Ok so her name was spelled wrong on the program and we were skipped/forgotten.  And I am expecting that her certificate will be mailed with the wrong name printed on it.  If not her name then mine. 
But my baby girl was baptized. :)   She was so good.  No crying.  Only alittle discomfort cause the priest poured some water in her eyes.  But really who likes that!
Elleia was baptized in the same dress I was baptized in. :)  Making the day even more treasured.  I started tearing up.  It was overwhelming to think that my baby girl wore my dress and my baptism candle was lite for the first time in 33 years.   It was really overwhelming.   I also started thinking about all the baby baptisms George and I have witnessed over the years.

Wesley   My nephew :)   Now also known as Elleia’s bodyguard.   Oh what a sweet baby. :)

We celebrated after the ceremony with friends and family at our home.   My mom cooked for us.   She made pork apritada, pancit and made lumpia.   The lumpia was made by the whole family.  We had a lumpia wrapping party the weekend before.  Uncle Jon even made some.   He wrapped better then Tita Melinda.  :)

Elleia is one lucky girl.  :)

I started something new. Cooing at 0800 :)

My new thing is to coo when I wake up at 0800.  It’s really just me saying, hey....where are you guys.   But mommy thinks it’s funny.  So really I keep it up just to make her happy.   Cause we all know a happy mommy is a happy day. :)

Mommy and Daddy went to the movies.

Mommy and Daddy went to see harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince.

I had better things to do then go to the movies.  I had a date with my mamang and Gung Gung.   I fought with them about whether or not the bottle was what I needed.   But in the end I agreed.   We also played dress up and napped.   It was a great time.

second wellness doctor visit

We took Elleia to her second wellness doctor visit this morning.  She now weighs 11.88 lbs.  Of course, just like all the other visits, Elleia peed on the scale.  She was fascinated by all of her reflections in the mirrors.  We asked the doc to split up her shots this time around.  So she had two of the four vaccines done today.  She cried a little and recovered quickly.  I was crying more than her (on the inside, of course!)

My Red Egg and Ginger Party

I had a Red Egg and Ginger Party today.  It was FUN :)   
There was lots of family and good friends.  Oh and FOOD!
